About Our Longmont Podiatrist
Meet Dr. Steed
Dr. Steed spent his early life in Alberta, Canada, where he was raised in a farming community just near the Rocky Mountains. He received part of his undergraduate studies while in Alberta but later moved to Utah where he studied at Brigham Young University. He received his doctorate studies from the California College of Podiatric Medicine, which was later renamed Merritt College. Dr. Steed
spent the next 2 years in Palo Alto, CA in his residency at the Veterans Hospital of Palo Alto which is associated with rotations at the Stanford University Medical Hospital.
Dr. Steed is member of different podiatrist associations in the US including, Colorado Podiatric Medical Association, American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons and American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Steed is passionate about spending time with his wife and four children and they often spend time playing football, volleyball, basketball and just running around. He is also active in community and church events and birthdays.
Flatirons Foot & Ankle Clinic has grown over the years. It has moved from its original location at South Longmont to an office building near Longmont hospital, and later relocated to Coffman St. to cater to an increasing number of patients and to offer a wider range of podiatric services. Dr. Steed enjoys meeting new people and helping them get back to their activities without the discomfort of foot pain. Since the clinic started, he has been helping young children, the elderly, families and athletes with different foot challenges.
